Roberto Minardi

Roberto Minardi (Ragusa, 1977). He moved to England in 1999. From 2005 to 2006 he lived in Panama City where he published his first short collection of poems in an Italian-Spanish bilingual version (translated by the poet Alexander Zanches). In 2007 he published in Italy Note dallo sterno (Archilibri). His poems are published in various Italian literary magazines, and  he has won prizes in several poetry competitions. His unpublished collection of poems Nel senso che received a mention of honour at the “Lorenzo Montano” prize in 2011. Since 2011, he is also running dopotutto [d|t] with Alessandro Mistrorigo, a literary project about Contemporary Italian Poets living abroad. In May 2014 he published Il bello del presente (Ed. Tapirulan). He now lives in London where he works as an Italian and ESOL teacher.
