Zingonia Zingone (Londra, 1971) is a poet, novelist and translator. She grew up between Costa Rica and Italy. A graduate in Economics, she worked in banking and agriculture. She has four poetry books published in Spanish, two of which translated into Italian and published in Italy. Her poetry book Equilibrista del olvido (Raffaelli Editore, 2011, Editorial Germinal, 2012), has been translated into English (Poetywala, 2011) and into Kannada (Aharnishi Prakashana, 2012). Her most recent book is Los Naufragios del desierto (Vaso Roto Ediciones, 2013). Her poems have been published in numerous literary magazines and thematic anthologies and have been translated into various languages. Works translated into Spanish: Alarma de Virus (Ediciones Espiral, 2012), by Marathi poet Hemant Divate and La cruz es un camino (Edizioni della Meridiana, 2013) by Italian poet Daniele Mencarelli. Works translated into Italian: Utopia del solitario (Rayuela Edizioni, 2014) by Costa Rican poet Osvaldo Sauma.
