Watching Her

The reflection of her reflection
is dipping a towel into
something out of sight,
working at a corner of her mouth.
What is she about? Righting
an enthusiasm of lipstick?
Dabbing spirit on a sore?
Watching her is always like this
watching through two mirrors,
and wanting to know more.
